Yaounde: 20-year-old student killed in motor accident on way to school

Sam Raïssa Louange, a 20-year-old student of Father Monti Catholic College in Yaounde, was knocked down and killed by a truck this morning while on her way to school.

Reports say the bike that carried her was on high speed when it crashed on a cement truck, leading to the young girl’s death at the spot.

Announcing her death, the school’s principal said she was a student of A4 ESP, and that they were immensely saddened by her death.

“In this painful circumstance, he sends to the family so hard-hit the most saddened condolences of Scolaire Father Monti to which he associates the expression of his deep compassion,” the Principal wrote.

Her remains were taken to the mortuary where it is pending burial.
