Yaoundé-Bafoussam: Déjà près de 40 morts !

L’accident mortel est survenu ce dimanche, 27 décembre, aux environs de 2h du matin sur la Nationale n°4, Yaoundé – Bafoussam. C’est au lieu dit PONT DE NORMAL sur le tronçon Ndikinimiki – Bafia, dans le Mbam et Noubou, qu’un véhicule de marque Mercedes, gros porteur, de l’agence inter-urbain “Avenir Voyages”, a percuté un camion.

Le chauffeur de cette agence est mort sous le choc, ainsi que 29 autres passagers. 26 blessés graves ont été conduits à l’hôpital de district de Ndikinimiki; 10 viennent de rendre l’âme. Le chauffeur du camion a pris fuite. Les fouilles se poursuivent sur le lieu du drame par les sapeurs pompiers.

Les premiers éléments d’enquête parlent de l’excès de vitesse. Le Ministre des Transports et celui de l’Administration Territoriale viennent d’arriver sur le lieu du drame.
