A woman, fondly known as Apo has been crushed to death by a semi-trailer truck in her drunken state in the Nkomo neighborhood in Yaounde, Center Region of Cameroon.
Said to be aged 45, the woman happened to be completely drunk when she was run over by a truck on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at about 10 a.m.
According to Jeremie, owner of a shop at Nkomo, she had the habit of hanging out in the middle of the road whenever she had excess alcohol. This however turned out bad for her this time around.
According to Abdoulaye, the driver of the truck, he saw the lady too late, and had no way of avoiding her. The lady’s body was split in two and the lower part was completely crushed.
The remains were gathered by forces of law and order and deposited at the mortuary.
