Yaounde: Man from Lassin beaten to death for urinating on somebody’s land.

A man whose name MMI got as Sylvester Banfila has been beaten to death in Nkolmesseng, Yaounde, Centre Region of Cameroon, MMI has gathered.

A source in the area told MMI that he was hit with an object by a man “for urinating by a roadside on his way to a meeting.”

He reportedly died of internal bleeding on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in a health facility in Yaounde.

The source who refused to be named said: “Syvester left for a meeting on a bike. While On the way, he felt the urge to ease himself and pleaded with the bike man to permit him to do so. When he went down to urinay, the owner of the land started shouting at him asking why he was urinating on his land.Before he knew it, the man took a stick and hit him with. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died of internal bleeding.”

Sylvester was a native of Lassin in Noni Sub Division, Bui Division of the North West Region.

He left behind two kids and a wife.
