Yaoundé : Man killed by wife’s boyfriend



A commercial bike rider is Yaounde is on the run after killing his girlfriend’s husband.



The rider is said to have taken to his heels after hacking to death with a machete, a man who had caught him in matrimonial bed pants down with his wife.



Journalist, Emmanuella Wvemnyuy recounted in a Facebook post that, the incident occurred at Carefour SIL in Odza, Yaounde, political capital of Cameroon.



The now deceased man, had lived with his wife for over ten years and they both had four kids.



While he stepped out daily to work, the wife sold fruits near their home, in a bid to raise supplementary income for the family.



Many had admired the relationship, given how close they seemed to be, as well as the regular weekend outings they had.




“Everything however crashed last Sunday when the man returned home early one day to find his wife on their matrimonial bed with a commercial bike rider,” Wvemnyuy narrated, adding that: “she was in the hands of a boyfriend, a very known biker in the neighborhood.”



In a scuffle that ensued, the rider is said to have hacked the man to death with a machete before taking to his heels.



The lady in question is said to have been arrested and detained pending further investigation. Their four kids remain helpless in the midst of the tragedy.


“Over 10 years of what appeared like a real union ends in blood spill … The kids are all home alone,” the journalist added.
