Yaounde: public arrests two suspected robbers

Two suspected thieves have been administered mob justice by locals of the Nkoldongo neighborhood in the nation’s capital, Yaounde.

They were caught attempting to break into a money transfer agency building.

“There were four in number but two escaped and these ones were caught” MMI is told.

A local says the suspects have often robbed inhabitants of the neighborhood in the night, making away with their belongings.

“They were caught because they used a bike. They seized people’s phones this morning and were caught. Before then, they tried entering into Express Union at Nkoldongo. They broke glasses and tried to make away with things but we’re unfortunate” he explains.
