Yaounde: Travel agency threatens to get agitating passengers arrested, after frustrating them

Some passengers of Tresor Voyage, an inter-urban transport agency based in Yaounde, have been agitating after their journey to Dschang was frustrated due to lack of buses.

Instead, the bus agency wants to get them arrested for demanding that their transport fare be refunded, one of them told MMI.

“It is not easy here in Yaounde Biyem-Assi at the Agency Tresor. These are passengers who have been stranded after paying a boss to Dschang just to discover that there is no bus in the agency to carry them,” said one of the stranded passengers.

“The problem now is, giving back the money which has rather caused problems because the agency rather preferred to call for a police rather than giving money,” the passenger added.

Tresor Voyage runs inter-urban transportation between the Centre, Littoral and West Regions.
