Yaoundé: Woman cuts 7-year-old stepchild’s face with a knife over missing 50 FCFA

Inhabitants of the Nkong neighborhood in Yaounde, Cameroon’s Centre Region have been in shock and consternation after a woman cut her 7-year-old stepchild’s face with a knife over missing 50 FCFA (0.08 USD)

Bella Florence according to reports had accused her 7-year-old husband’s child of stealing the sum of 50 FCFA from the house.

“Without hesitation, she began beating and torturing the child. She later grabbed a knife which she used to cut the child’s face,” narrated a source.

In a viral picture, the child could be seen with blood oozing from the head, with some all over his body.

Locals have been calling for her arrest.
