YOSA buries Ndifon Akwa Alphones

Ndifon Akwa Alphones has been laid to rest at his Old Town residence in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon.

The team manager of Yong Sports Academy (YOSA), a division one football club in Cameroon was shot dead at his residence by unidentified armed gun men on the night of Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Ndifon Akwa Alphones popularly know as “Better Boy” before engaging in football administration at the club level served as elite one assistant referee.

Officials of Yong Sports Academy regret his demise recalling a key role he played in the club. YOSA demands that perpetrators of the act should be brought to book.

Close to two weeks after his assassination, defense and security forces have not been able to identify the killers. Despite this, people are pointing accusing fingers at separatist fighters .
