Zouma sentenced to 180 hours community service, banned from keeping cats

After pleading guilty, West Ham defender Kurt Zouma has been sentenced to 180 hours community service, and banned from keeping cats for the next five years.

The 27-year-old football player reportedly admitted two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal by kicking it in the abdomen and slapping it in the head.

According to reports, Kurt Zouma could be heard in the video saying “I swear I’ll kill it, I swear I’ll kill it.”

The video was reportedly filmed and publish by his brother, Yoan Zouma who was equally found guilty and sentenced to 140 hours of community service.

However alot of controversies have been raised as to whether such treatment is attributed to his color as a black.
