An X-Ray film printer will soon be purchased for the St. John of God Hospital in Mamfe, South West Region of Cameroon.
This is thanks to a €3,000 (slightly over 1.9 million FCFA) donation made to the institution.
The money was raised by a group of friends seeking to extend a hand of fellowship back home by boosting the health domain.
They donated at a fundraising event that had in attendance, the Secretary-General of the National Episcopal Conference, Mgr Dr. Jervis Kebei Kewi.
Also performing at the said ceremony this past weekend, were some Cameroonian artists resident in NRW, Germanyadr.
The fundraising was preceded by a mass attended by the Cameroon Catholic Community Mülheim on Sunday, October 11.
The €3000, they revealed, was raised to support the project of Archbishop Andrea Nkea the administrator of Mamfe Diocese.
Archbishop Nkea on his part has since extended his appreciation for the donation, noting that it will go a long way to foster the mission of the health institution for which it is destined.
