A 17 year old girl in Mbouda, in the West Region of Cameroon is currently recovering at the hospital after she was raped by armed bandits.
The ungodly act is said to have occured on the night of May 23, breaking May 24.
We gathered that the teenager was raped by bout three well built robbers.
The thugs reportedly broke into the house while the girl was asleep with her younger siblings, in the absence of their parents.
The two little boys were easily overpowered by the thugs, who then proceeded to sexually assaulting the girl, leaving her unconscious.
The thieves also proceeded to taking away three mobile phones from the house, and a sum of 1000 frs.
It was however after they had left that the neighbors were alerted of what had just happened, but unfortunately it was too late.
The little girl was immediately rushed to the hospital by her neighbors, where she is currently undergoing intensive medical care.
Latest reports say she has regained her consciousness, and is responding positively to treatment.
An investigation meanwhile to fish out the culprits has been initiated.
