2022 FIFA World Cup: Argentina loses to Saudi Arabia, Denmark draws with Tunisia

Saudi Arabia defeated Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the Group C opening game of the Qatar World Cup.

Saudi Arabia won Argentina 2-1 even though the opener was scored by Lionel Messi, Argentinian captain.

It is believed that Saudi Arabia’s victory is thanks to its coach Herve Renard who has a good reputation after serving as a coach to a good number of African countries.

Later in the day, Denmark faced Tunisia. At the end of the match, both teams returned home with one point each as the encounter ended in a 0-0 tie.

Mexico is currently facing Poland, while then France will face Australia at 8 pm Cameroon time.
