50.000 households to benefit from Eto’os coronavirus aid package

Fifty thousand (50.000) households selected from the towns of Buea, Bafoussam, Yaounde and Douala will receive kits to help fight against coronavirus.

The action was announced Wednesday April 15. The gesture by Samuel Eto’o Fils, former international footballer is aimed at reinforcing the respect of coronavirus preventive measures.

In addition to the kits containing hygiene materials like soap, sanitizers and face masks, the legendary footballer of international repute will equally share some food stuff to selected families. Samuel Eto’o Fils through his foundation is to give these to poorest communities in the four towns.

Away from the poor, Samuel Eto’o alongside his partners will also support and assist players of local football championship experiencing hardship given that activities have been suspended to permit the appropriate fight against the pandemic.
The Cameroon Football Association – FECAFOOT is to distribute the gifts to some one thousand players selected from forty four clubs. The action of the former football has been saluted by many.
