Eight suspected armed robbers have been apprehended by the forces of law and order in Yaounde, Center Region of Cameroon.
They were presented to the press yesterday Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
According to reports, the robbers stole an amount of over 20 million FCFA from a vehicle but were intercepted by the forces of security as they attempted to escape.
According to divisional commissioner Denis Ntoh, deputy director of criminal investigations at the judicial police, they made use of hard objects to break the glasses, giving them, “… access to the interior of the vehicle.”
The eight alleged robbers have been taken into custody by the judicial police as they await trial.
