Ahead of the planned conference on the armed conflict in Cameroon’s Anglophone regions, the Coalition for Dialogue and Negotiation’s Co-Chair, Judith Nwana has met with former Ambassador, Herman Cohen.
Mrs Nwana specifies that she spoke with the former US assistant secretary of state for African affairs on the “pathways to a permanent negotiated solution to the escalating armed conflict in the Southern Cameroons.”
Discussions she notes also involved how the upcoming international conference scheduled for March 19-21 “could help in facilitating credible negotiations and preparing for post-conflict reconstruction” she adds.
The meeting is due to hold from March 19 to 21, 2020.
