After three years of studies at the School for Health Personnel State Registered Nursing in Limbe, South West region of Cameroon, successful candidates have been served results attestations written in the French language.
One of the graduates speaking to Mimi Mefo Info on anonymity says “I deposited my documents in a private clinic in Douala. In the course of an interview, the panel doubted how I could study in an English school in Limbe and my attestation is in the French language. I can’t tell if I was rejected because of this but I was not recruited.”

The graduate expressed concern that other graduates of the school have been facing similar challenges once out of the school.
Graduates of the School for Health Personnel State Registered Nursing Limbe that travel to English-speaking countries seeking jobs with attestations say they face similar challenges.
In one of the attestations received by Mimi Mefo Info signed by Ella Ngbwa Emile, Director of Human Resource at the Ministry of Public Health, all the information is in the French language.

“We want the attestations to be in the English language. I don’t understand why our result slips and other official documents are in English but the attestation is in French. It’s funny and looks fake,” she adds in total disappointment.
Their demand is to see their attestations received and certificates issued in English.
