Players and fans of Yong Sports Academy,YOSA are in grief following the death of the club’s manager; Ndifon Akwa Alphones.
In a WhatsApp publication Monday December 21st 2020, YOSA media unit said ” The management of YOSA with a heavy heart announces the untimely death of Ndifon Akwa Alphones”
A family source has confirmed that Ndifon Akwa Alphones was brutally murdered by unidentified gunmen at his residence situated at Old Town Bamenda in the North West region of Cameroon on the night of December 20th 2020.
Killers of the football lover and retired referee have not been identified though many in Bamenda have been pointing accusing fingers on separatist fighters.
To Yong Sports Academy, the death of the club manager is a big blow to the Bamenda based elite one football club.
Ndifon Akwa Alphones has been part of the management team of YOSA since 2004.
