Reports say Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o, Cameroon’s ex-Minister of Defense has been attacked by some inmates at the Kondengui Central Prison in Yaoundé.
A source says the erstwhile Minister of Transport and one-time police chief is now receiving health care following the incident earlier today.
Once believed to be President Paul Biya’s possible successor, Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o, his wife, and three of his close collaborators were arrested on corruption charges on March 12, 2019.
