His Royal Highness, Chief Ndaveson Ndiveh Ikome has been presented to the population of Mile 14, Dibanda in Buea, South West region of Cameroon as their new traditional ruler.
This was during a heavily guarded ceremony held in the locality presided over by the Divisional Officer for Buea.
Thousands of villagers and Buea residents gathered to welcome the new traditional rulers.
At just 24 and a university of Buea student, Chief Ndiveh becomes the youngest chief in all of Fako division.
He replaced Chief Ngale Ikome who was found dead on Sunday December 13 after being abducted by separatist fighters. Separatists denied responsibility.
Chief Ndiveh’s coronation ceremony comes up in the weeks ahead.
