Asobo Pius is one of the two shot to dead at Hospital Roundabout Bamenda today by alleged amba fighters.
Pius who hails from Pinyin village in the North West region was one of the two latest victims of the war between separatists and government forces.
Eyewitnesses testified that Pius was accused of being the brain behind military raids in Pinyin village in search of separatist fighters popularly called amba boys.
The heavily armed men are said to have appeared on board a motorbike to take him away. In an attempt to resist being abducted, reports say, he was shot dead.
The death of Pius and another yet-to-be-identified individual brings to two the latest casualties out of thousands since 2016 when the crisis exacerbated into an armed conflict.
