Sultan Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya, father of the current interim president of FECAFOOT Seidou Mbombo Njoya has received in audience the president of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, Dr Patrice Motsepe who arrived Cameroon earlier today.
Discussions during the meeting have not been made public but speculations are rife both personalities have talked about the upcoming elections at the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT.
The CAF president was accompanied to Bamoun by his 4th vice president and son of the Sultan of the Bamouns, Seidou Mbombo Njoya who is looking forward to run for the FECAFOOT top job.
For now, only former Indomitable lions player, Jules Denis Onana has made public intentions to run for the job.
Recently, speculations have been rife on the social media that Samuel Eto’o Fils and Football agent Ivo Chi will be running for the FECAFOOT top job.
At five months to the start of the African Nations cup in Cameroon, Dr. Patrice Motsepe is in Cameroon to attend the draws for the competition billed for this Tuesday August 17, 2021 at the Yaounde conference centre.
