There is a video circulating on social media made by an alleged ex-Cameroonian soldier who claims to have recently defected from the military.

Covered up in a face cap, a face mask, and a pair of dark shades, to conceal his identity, the now ex-soldier calls out against state manipulation of soldiers in the military.

He equally made some shocking accusations on the activities of soldiers in the Anglophone Regions, whom he says are into the business of trafficking of human parts in Foumban after killing and decapitating from the anglophone regions.

“…That opened my eyes to see that it was not what I joined the force for, so I decided to join the separatist fighters,” he said.

He added that “any Anglophone within the military who hasn’t defected to aid his brothers in their fight against the government is a foolish man.”

He also called out against the manipulation by the government, saying the military is being fooled and sent to the Anglophone Regions to be killed by separatists fighters.

“Many of my military colleagues have died and continue to die, but they won’t admit, ” he revealed. “Many of them have been killed and have been buried without the knowledge of their family members, ” he adds.

The alleged defected soldier in the 7-minute long video equally threatened parents who insist on sending their children to school.

He said they will be tracked and dealt with if they insist on sending their kids to schools in the Anglophone Regions.

The video circulates at a time when the Defence Minister has revealed that there will be a change in military strategy in the Anglophone Regions in the fight against the secessionists. The decision by Minister Joseph Beti Assomo was prompted by recent attacks on Cameroonian Soldiers in the North West Region in the past two weeks, which led to the deaths of at least 15 Cameroonian Soldiers.
