Renowned Human Rights lawyer Barrister Tamfu Richard has revealed that the pregnant woman who was recently harassed on video by Chief Ewome Eko John alias Moja Moja is currently being detained at the Buea Central Prison.

In the video which showed the chief, also a Cameroonian security agent, manhandling the woman and her child, he claimed that she was the wife of the self-styled Ambazonian General No Pity. Chief Moja Moja said he was going to take custody of the woman and her child.

Barrister Tamfu Richard has condemned the incarceration of the pregnant woman. According to him, “No Pity will not commit his crimes if any, and you want to impute it on his wife and child. It doesn’t work like that.”

The human rights lawyer has also revealed that he would be filing a complaint in the coming days against chief Ewome Eko of Bwassa village. He has also called on other human rights lawyers to join him and seek justice for the presumed innocent woman.
