Today November 04, 2021, marks 39 years since former Cameroonian Head of State, Ahmadou Ahidjo resigned from power. Two days after his resignation, then Prime Minister Paul Biya succeeded him and has ruled Cameroon ever since.


At least eight students of Government High School Elig-Esono have been handed over to Gendarmes for possessing illicit drugs in school. The students were caught in possession of cannabis and other dangerous tools by the school authorities during a routine check on campus.


The lifeless body of a certain Eric Tchami has been recovered today from the Kekem River in the West Region. The deceased is said to have fallen and drowned in the river more than 5 days ago.


Cameroonians without documents in Malabo say they are reportedly being hunted by the authorities of Equatorial Guinea. Cameroonian residents in the Central African country say they have had to close up their businesses and remain indoors for fear of the unknown.

Butchers in Nkambe, capital of the Donga Mantung division, North West region now have a better location of operation. They were handed a new market constructed by the council as part of an ongoing sanitation campaign in the town.


Quarter heads in the Bamenda I, II, and III neighborhoods have resolved to resume clean-up campaigns on Mondays. They decided while meeting with the town’s City Mayor today.
