Some Members of Parliament have indicated the need to discuss the 5-year long armed conflict rocking the two anglophone regions of Cameroon, in the ongoing November ordinary session of parliament in Yaounde.
According to Hon. Joshua Osih, “The government has no choice. Cameroonians are hoping that after 5 years, the government will have the necessary courage to allow parliament discuss the crisis.
“I think today, they don’t have a choice. They just have to do it,” Hon. Osih added.
On his part, Hon. Ekolle Peters said “I am from Kumba and resident in Kumba, witnessing the happenings. We have to put a stop to this because this is a question of humanity, rather than political affiliations”.
