The sons and daughters of the Oku Fondom yesterday reunited at the Fon’s palace in Oku, Bui Division, North West Region.
They converged to mourn Fon Sintieh II who disappeared earlier on May 6, 2021, from a protracted illness at the Bamenda Regional Hospital.
Amidst the Anglophone crisis in the North West and South West Regions, natives of Oku had not had a proper opportunity to mourn their departed Fon.
Oku natives present at the palace yesterday were delighted to finally mourn their departed leader, months after his disappearance.
Amongst other things, they reiterated the need for a return to peace in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon, so that all could go back to normal in the two troubled regions.
