Mr. Banlav Etienne Lemnyuy, a father of four kids, has now gone for more than 3 years without returning home after getting arrested by military forces in a midnight raid in Babanki, Tubah Subdivision in 2018.

His wife told Mimi Mefo Info that her husband was accused by the soldiers of being an Ambazonian fighter and then whisked off and was never seen again.

Despite having searched Banlav Etienne Lemnyuy from all detention centers and stations across the Tubah Subdivision, he still has not been found.

His wife told us she has also searched for him at the Bamenda Central Prison and has also laid complaints with some NGOs like the Red Cross, Human Rights organizations as well as directly with the Governor of the North West Region to no avail.

The search for Mr. Banlav Etienne Lemnyuy at the Yaoundé Kondengui Maximum Prison has also been fruitless.

Having gone for close to four years without seeing her husband, his wife says she and her children want clarity on the whereabouts of her husband.

“My children and I just want to know if my husband is still alive or dead…,” she said. “If he is dead, then we can mourn him, and if he’s still alive, we should be able to take care of him. That is all we are asking,” she requested.
