Reliable information reaching us has it that one of the five teachers Kidnapped from the Government High School in Weh village, in the Menchum Division, North West Region has had the opportunity to call from captivity and speak to his relatives.
He is the principal of the School, Mr. Jam Joseph Mukong. His relatives say late yesterday evening, they received a call from the kidnappers who told them Mr. Jam Joseph wanted to speak to them.
Speaking to them, he confirmed that five of them were kidnapped by separatists fighters from school, four men and a lady. The lady was later released because she had a child with her, and the four others retained in captivity.
Mr. Jam Joseph was asked to speak for himself only, hence no information could be gotten about the three others with him.
The Separatists demanded no ransom for neither the release of the principal or the other three captives. However, more will be expected to be heard from them in the hours ahead.
