Rose Limunga Njie, 122, believed to be the oldest woman alive in Caeroon’s South West region has been honoured. She was honoured today as part of activities marking the 37th edition of the International Women’s Day.
The honour in the form of cash and a certificate was handed by the South West Regional Delegation of Women Empowerment and the Family.
Another award that marked celebrations was that awarded to a couple that have been married for 61 years . They couple said their marriage secret has been patience.
Several other honours were also accorded to deserving women and persons in the region who stood out in certain aspects of life.
