The Minister of Secondary Education, Nalova Lyonga, in a recent release has urged regional delegates to submit all files of indisciplined teachers.

The correspondent also requested hierarchies and head of schools to serve query letters to personels who have been noted for misconduct.

However, some teachers have clung to the belief that the gesture by the government will rather worsen matters between the government and teachers.

“What the government is about to engage in is not going to solve any problem. I think it’s going to create more problems than bringing out solutions” Richard Atemkeng said.

Meanwhile, other pedagogues believe some teachers deserve the sanctions by government.

According to one teacher, the government is fed up and has the right to act this way.

His words,” May I remind you that there were some colleagues who were on strike for two months, who didn’t work for two months but who went to their various banks and received their salary. I think that’s what the government is looking into now.”

In the correspondence, the minister of Secondary Education, gave regional delegates up to 5th of May to submit the names of indisciplined teachers.
