Employer ‘Missing’ as maid allegedly electrocuted to death

An employer is said to be on the run after her maid whose name MMI got only as Celine aged 37 was allegedly electrocuted to death while on duty in Douala, Littoral region. The incident is said to have happened Tuesday May 3 on the third floor of the Koweit City building in the economic capital.


According to Thierry blaise, a brother to the deceased, neighbors claimed they heard a loud voice and when they checked, they only saw the victim in bad shape on the balcony.


“They said they heard a loud cry and that is when the daughter of her matron rushed to check what was happening and when she arrived, she noticed my sister hooked to the balcony,” he said.


The family is however said to be view the death of Cecile as being mysterious. The employer of Celine is said to be on the run.


” Celine died just like that, without any blood on her and they are telling me she was electrocuted. We had a rendez-vous at 10 and when we got there, we were told the owner of the house did not sleep at home the previous night,” a source said.


Celine’s family however suspect the woman along side her daughter might have left the country as calls multiply for investigations.
