A 15-year-old boy by the name of Frederic is said to have thrown a baby from the balcony of the third floor a storey building in Bonamoussadi, Douala Littoral Region.

Frederic was on holidays at his brother’s house in Bonamoussadi when the incident happened. The brother in question is based in Europe, while his fiance resides in Douala.

According to sources, Frederic committed the act barely few hours after his arrival at his brother’s residence.

Reports state that the mother of the baby was not around when Frederic threw off the baby from the balcony.

The baby died instantly from the impact of the fall.

During an investigation, Frederic claimed the incident happened as a result of an accident, while he played with his nephew.

However, upon the arrival of his brother who left Europe immediately after being told of the incident, Frederic confessed that he threw off the baby “since the baby vomited alot”.

Frederic’s mother was arrested as it is believed she masterminded the act considering she was never in support of her son’s relationship with his Fiance.

Meanwhile, investigations are still ongoing.
