A soldier whose name we got Colonel Ngono Olivier and his bike rider have been shot dead by unidentified men in a locality of the Far North region.
He was killed on the morning of Sunday, August 7, 2022, Kangaleri village in the Far North Region of Cameroon.
“We just woke up and realized both the soldier and the bike rider lying lifeless on the ground. We cannot tell what happened, ” a source indicated.
According to reports, the soldier had abandoned his duty post the previous night and was found dead in the morning with the bike rider who transported him.
The circumstances which led to the horrible incident are unknown at the moment.
