Cyrille Yvan Abondo, Senior Divisional Officer for the Sanaga Maritime Division in the Littoral Region, has announced the construction of automatic toll gates in the near future.

The information is contained in a release signed by the official, September 16, 2022.

In the release, Cyrille Yvan ordered that the existing toll gate in Sikoum be relocated from its former post at Ekite in Edea II.

“This temporary relocation is a prior arrangement for the imminent start of works declared to be of public utility for the construction of an automatic toll booth, buildings, car parks, and a commercial space in Sikoum,” indicated Cyrille Yvan in the release.

He reiterated: “the Sub-Prefect of the District of Edea 2, the Commander of the Gendarmerie Company of Edea, the Central Commissioner of the City of Edea, the Departmental Transport Delegate of Sanaga Maritime… ” will be responsible for the execution of the project.
