A woman by the name Mary, a resident of Mbanga, Moungo Division of the Littoral Region has expressed joy following the recovery of her stolen baby.
The baby was stolen on October 6, 2022, in a hair salon in Mbanga.
The woman expressed excitement for being able to once more set eyes on her baby, after about three weeks of a thorough search.
The search, orchestrated by the forces of law and order of the locality, led to the discovery of the baby in Ediki, a locality in Kumba, South West Region of Cameroon.
“I really thank them so much,” she said, adding, “Thanks to their efforts, I’ve been able to have my baby back in Mbanga.”
The theft of babies has become rampant in Cameroon in the past few days.
