A man whose name MMI could not get at the time of this report has received snake beatings in Douala, Cameroon’s main economic city.
The incident was reported Wednesday October 26, 2022.
According to reports, the young man duped a commercial bike rider of 5,000frs by selling him five litres of colored water claiming it was vegetable oil locally referred to as groundnut oil.
“He dupped a bike man with 5 litres of water in the name of groundnut oil for 5000frs” an eye witness told MMI
According to the eye witness “When this bike rider reached home and the wife wanted to cook, she happily poured the oil into the pot and discovered it was water not groundnut oil”
The bike rider reportedly bought the fake groundnt some days ago and the vendor was only found today doing the same business.
The enraged rider got hold of him and beat him up after siezing and pouring the fake groundnut oil as a crowd watched.
“Today the bike man met him still with the same fake groundnut oil and got him well beaten”, the witness furthered.
