A municipal councillor for the ruling CPDM party in Douala has accused security officers of consuming drugs with young criminals in Makea.
Charles Elie Zang, a council official in Douala 2 was speaking a few hours after a young boy was killed by a group of bandits.
Makea has been described by many as most dangerous neighbourhoods in Douala where theft, insecurity and assault, even in broad daylight are common.
