Tempers are flaring in Bai Kuke, a locality in Mbonge Subdivision, Meme division of the Southwest region of Cameroon.

“What has happened is very touching.I saw the young man being beaten to death”,an eye witness told MMI.

“He was given snake beatings until he dehydrated, cried out for help and asked for water but received more beatings,” the eyewitness continued.

He was reportedly stoned and cut with a machete.

“Frank hit his (deceased) head with a stone touched his spinal cord with a machete” the witness further narrated.

Attempts by onlookers to rescue the innocent boy met stiff resistance from the killers who threatened everyone.

They reportedly gathered tires to burn him.He cried out telling them, “I have not stolen I am dying innocently”

At the verge of death he was reportedly carried to a different location and killed.

Locals say the deceased was innocent and threatened a retaliatory move.

The detestable action stirred anger from the villagers who had been nursing anger against Mr Niko Frank, the quarter head of Bai.

The quarter head together with his boys are reportedly on the run as tensions continues to rise.

The houses of the killers have reportedly been burnt with their belongings in a retaliatory move.
