The wife of the head of state, Mrs Chantal Biya will today receive new year wishes.
This event will take place at 2pm at the Unity Palace.
The wives of the members of the diplomatic corps and those of national dignitaries are expected to be present.
They are expected to dress in skirts suit or traditional attires.
