The president of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa has turned down a request to give popular South African rapper AKA a state burial.
The request, submitted in the form of a letter by South African politician Panyaza Lesugi had as idea to put the country’s flag on AKA’s coffin and fly flags at half mast.
South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, professionally known as AKA was shot to death in Durban, a city in South Africa on February 10, 2023.
