Cameroon’s Embassy in Tunisia has announced that all Cameroonians in Tunisia who wish to return of home will be repatriated on April 5 at 5:55pm.
The information is contained in a release signed by Cameroon’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Djobo Samuel.
He said the operation has been instructed by President Paul Biya.
According to the release, each passenger (adult and child over 2 years old) is entitled to 2 bags of 23 kg (46 in total) and a cabin bag of 10 kg maximum.
“Children under the age of 2 are each entitled to one piece of baggage weighing 23 kg and another in the cabin of a maximum of 10 kg,” Ambassador Djobo Samuel noted.
The regrouping of the persons concerned will take place at the Embassy, latest 12:30 p.m. for their departure from Tunis-Carthage International Airport.
The repatriation follows numerous cases of racism and violence or xenophobic attacks against blacks in Tunisia.
