Kain Clement is a young promising Cameroonian making a name in the field of technology.
The young man who is internally displaced as a result of the ongoing Anglophone crisis conceives and executes ideas in industrial machinery, electric and electronic technology.
“I am a young innovator in electrical and electronic technology. I can conceive ideas, put them to a physical diagram and construct it out as a circuit that can now be used to solve problems in society and industrial applications as well,” Kain told MMI.
He however said his greatest challenges are to forge ahead due to lack of means.
Appealing for support to realize his dreams, Kain told MMI that he decided to go back to school in order to be more exposed and improve his practical skills.
“My challenges are that I lack the necessary materials needed to realise my ideas,” he said adding, “Due to this, I saw that the only way to realise the idea is by using materials in school where I have to construct, test and destroy it back.”
He went on saying, “I am here seeking support in order to get these materials to be able to generate, realise and test these ideas without much difficulty. More of my intended projects, if I get the materials, are on semi-automated systems so I can keep on improving in skills”.
Kain Clement is a native of Bafmen-Wum in the North West region of Cameroon. He has been living in Douala for 4 years due to the armed conflict in the North West region.
He told MMI, “I had just returned to Bamenda recently to have my ATVEE”
