Hundreds of followers and sympathisers of the SDF party have been thronging the residence of the late SDF chairman Ni John Fru Ndi, in Ntarinkon, Bamenda II Subdivision of Mezam division, North West Region.
After the official announcement of his demise, party officials have been taking turns to pay him homage.
Those who visited Fru Ndi’s residence Monday include district chairpersons, former members of Parliament of the SDF, the mayor of Bamenda III council, Fonguh Cletus amongst others.
While at the chairman’s residence, SDF party officials and sympathisers signed the condolence book which has been opened.
Prayers were also said by Christians and men of God who visited the compound.
Residents of Bamenda have been praising Chairman Fru Ndi for his fight against social injustice.
Along the streets of Bamenda, you would meet two or three persons talking about the demise of Fru Ndi.
Chairman Fru Ndi died Monday, in Yaounde, days after returning from Switzerland where he was receiving treatment.
He died aged 81, after a long illness.
