Cameroon-born International basketball player Joel Embiid has tied the knot with a Brazilian model by the name of Anne De Paula.
They got wedded this Saturday, July 22, 2023, in New York in the United States.
The 29-year-old on May this year was designated the best player in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He is the second African to be named “Most Valuable Player” after Nigerian Hakeem Olajuwon.
Embiid, who was awarded NBA MVP in May, and de Paula already have a two-year-old kid together, named Arthur. After greeting his father on-court at the MVP ceremony, Arthur won the hearts of NBA fans.
The stunning bride wore a lace long-sleeved gown and veil, while the dashing groom chose a white tuxedo with a bow tie.
Joel Embiid possesses three nationalities. That is the French, American, and Cameroonian nationality.
