AFCON2022: Three Burkina Faso Players Test Positive to Covid, five days to Facing Cameroon

With barely few days left for the kick-off of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations Tournament, three players from the Burkina Faso squad have tested positive for Covid-19.

The Stallions of Burkina Faso may have their squad trimmed as they have to face the Indomitable Lions in the opening game of the tournament on January 09, 2022 at the Olembe Football Stadium.

The affected players are Issoufou Dayo, Dramane Nikiema and Kylian Nikiema. These players upon realisation were immediately isolated from the group and have not traveled to Cameroon with the rest of the team.
