After Shakiro’s accusations: Comedian, Cabrel Nanjip to confess, surrender to law enforcement

Cabrel Nanjip, a Cameroonian comedian says he is ready to place his cards on the table, after a renowned cross dresser, Shakiro, accused him and several others of being gay.

This is after he had initially denied accusations by Shakiro about his sexuality.

Cabrel earlier, took to social media to decry Shakiro’s utterances about him being a homosexual, stating that it had made him lose a lot of deals and the confidence of many people.

Cabrel like many others named by Shakiro had initially claimed the crossdresser was chasing clout but now he says he wants to speak up.

“I ask for forgiveness from the Cameroonian people, I ask for forgiveness from all I have offended. I have reached a point in my life where I have to confess,” he said in a video shared on his social media, as he knelt down in tears.

“My conscience pricking me, I need help please,” he continued, asking for help, in a latest Facebook post.

Cabral said he was going to go live on Facebook at 9 pm on Friday night to ‘confess.’

“After the live session, I will go hand myself over to the public prosecutor” he promised.

The situation has left many in laughter, given that he had initially denied claims made by Shakiro.

However, others believe his latest confession promise is true, given that he went as far as mentioning te public prosecutor.

Shakiro’s list

Shakiro who is now our of the country took many by surprise when he went online revealing names of men he said were practicing homosexuality which is illegal in Cameroon.

He went on to name a good number of francophone comedians including Cabrel Nanjip.

Shakiro in the live session played voice notes and exposed intimate images of some of those he named.

He later went online to name multiple anglophone entertainers too, accusing them of the same acts. The like of Tzy Panchak and Salatiel whom he named have denied the allegations, and counter accused him of attempting to foster the homosexuality agenda using them.

Shakiro had said he was naming his homosexual ‘accomplices’ for abandoning him at the New Bell Prison in Douala where he spent five months, accused of homosexuality.

In a lengthy Facebook message, he explained how he was sexually assaulted and ridiculed in prison by inmates who are currently serving a life sentence.

“I did nothing wrong, but they locked me up in the cell with hardened criminals, people who care very little about their lives and safety because them have been condemned to die in jail. There was an instance where at least five of them raped me. I had no one to report to. The trauma I faced in jail lives in me,” Shakiro explained.
