Ahead Of Fight To Defend UFC Title:
Indomitable Lions Send Support Message To World Heavyweight, Francis Ngannou

Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions of have sent a message of support to their fellow compatriot, World Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou, as he prepares to defend his title in the hours ahead.


Ngannou will in the course of today breaking Sunday January 23 be defending his Heavyweight Championship title in the Ultimate Fight Championship, UFC 270.


The fight will take place at the Honda Center, in Anaheim, California, USA . Ngannou will go head-to-head against the Interim Heavyweight Champion, Ciryl Jacky Gane. Just like Ngannou, Gane is also skillful in both mixed martial arts and Muay Thai.


Before tonight’s match, both fighters are said to have rubbed shoulders in the mixed martial arts training center in Paris. As the current coach of Gane, Ngannou’s tonight opponent was Ngannou’s trainer.

He is believed to be the one who launched Ngannou into the UFC fighting ring.
Ngannou has engaged in 19 UFC fights, winning 16. Twelve of these victories have been through knockout punches and four by submission from the opponents. He has lost just three fights.


Gane on his part has had fights in two domains viz; 13 kickboxing, winning all. Nine of these have been by knockouts. He as had 10 mixed martial arts fights, winning all, four by knockouts, three by submission and three by a refereeing decision.


In a pre-match conference, Ngannou, noted that he had, had tough fights, but his toughest fight was against Stipe Miocic, through whom he became UFC Heavyweight champion. Who will win tonight’s fight?
