Young Man Beaten to Death After Attacking and Stabbing Elderly Woman in Douala

A bandit has received ‘snake beating’ from an angry crowd after he and two others attacked a grandmother.

On Saturday, August 26th, in the Brazzaville neighbourhood, located on the outskirts of Douala, the grandmother was reportedly on her way to the market when she was accosted, robbed, and later stabbed by the thieves.

Crowd gathered at the scene in Douala

“Yes, there were three of them, They stole from the elderly woman and stabbed her. While they were about to escape, one of them was caught,” a source who witnessed the incident told MMI.

“He was beaten with sticks, stones, and many other objects, he bled and died on the spot,” our source added.

He then sent a video of the scene, where dozens of people gathered.

The identity of the slain bandit is not known. This is not the first time that thieves have attacked people in Douala.

In fact, the increasing rate of insecurity in Douala has forced the authorities to take action, but the situation is far from changing.
