Anglophone Crisis: Bloody military attack leaves five dead

Five persons have died in a bloody attack perpetrated by the military in Ekona, Muyuka Subdivision, In Cameroon’s South West Region.

The attack was carried out today Saturday, June 24, 2023.

In a viral video, the bodies of some young boys could be seen lying in a house. “We do not know who they are or why they were shot,” revealed a source.

Aside from the killings, several houses have also been burnt to ashes by the military.

Ekona has been one of the hottest spots for violence in the ongoing bloody quest for independence in English-speaking Cameroon.
the conflict which started in 2016 has claimed thousands of lives — with millions in dire need of humanitarian need.
